  3. Month 1. Match use. Keep the toe guarded and the face oiled so it lasts the season.

Is this real English willow?

Yes. Grade A English willow with the grain on the face. Kashmir is sold separately as the Valley Starter.

Do I still knock it in?

Yes. It is pre-pressed, not match-ready out of the wrapper. Knock in before hard leather-ball match use.

Short handle or long handle?

Both, same price. Short handle is the adult standard. Pick long handle if that is what you already use.

What if it arrives cracked?

Photograph it and contact us within 30 days. We replace or refund damaged bats and anything not as described.

Will it work for tape ball?

It is built for leather ball. For tape ball or heavy practice on concrete, the Kashmir starter lasts longer.
